Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Digital goods

Shortsome credits are a digital, prepaid product. Once credits are purchased and added to your account, they are generally non-refundable, as is standard for digital goods.

2. Automatic refunds for failed renders

If a render fails due to a technical error on our end, the credits charged for that render are automatically refunded to your account balance. No action is required from you — the refund appears instantly in your transaction ledger.

3. When we issue refunds

We will issue a full or partial refund to your original payment method if:

Payment was charged but credits were not added — due to a payment processing error or system outage.
Duplicate payment — you were charged more than once for the same credit pack.
Service unavailability — you purchased credits but the service was unavailable for an extended period (more than 72 hours), preventing you from using them.

4. When refunds are not issued

Credits that have already been used to render shorts.
Dissatisfaction with the AI-generated output (clip selection, framing, captions). We encourage previewing clips before rendering.
Account suspension or termination due to violation of our Terms & Conditions.
Change of mind after purchase.

5. How to request a refund

Your registered phone number.
The approximate date and amount of the purchase.
A brief description of the issue.

6. Refund processing time

Approved refunds are processed within 5–7 business days. The refund is issued to the original payment method via Razorpay. Bank processing times may vary.

7. Cancellation

Shortsome uses a pay-as-you-go credit model with no recurring subscription. There is nothing to cancel. If you wish to stop using the service, simply do not purchase additional credits. Your unused credits remain in your account indefinitely.
